Comfortable standing depends on the weight being carried efficiently by the skeleton. The key here is efficiently. Between simply standing and feeling well supported and comfortable, there is rich terrain to explore. We work in a variety of different positions to bring fresh perspectives to the act of being upright.

All through the day, in small and large ways, we open and close, expand and contract. In order to get up, you have to be down, in order to expand you need to contract. When we stiffen parts of ourselves we lose this flow and with it some of our strength and resilience.

During our time together we will delve into the power of complimentary movements and how this can facilitate improvements in one's overall sense of ease and grace in action.
